Amen! You spoke the truth. ALS is relentless It never stops. It just gradually (if your lucky) take everything from you one inch or mile at a time. Me? First it took my speech. Then my ability to eat. Then, not satisfied it took my ability to walk, open any package, hell, even refueling my body. And it is just getting started. And the cruelest thing it does to us is leave your mind intact. So you are being held an unwilling prisoner in your own body as the jail cell. And you are stuck in this prison with every sense intact except movement. Aware of everything, still wanting to live but unable to do a single thing. FUCK ALS! FUCK ALS, FUCK ALS!
