Russ, you are to be commended and are truly an inspiration in every sense of the word. I have never known anyone else who has tried so hard and so successfully to make the best of an absolutely miserable situation. Most guys I know (including myself) would be hiding in the closet in the fetal position, not taking a road trip to Texas. It is easy to see how you achieved the level of success in the publishing industry that you did. You are a leader and a man among men. Every day I pray that you can last long enough to see a cure for this insidious disease. I am proud to know you.

Muriel,
That is in the past unfortunately. I have given all three of them away. Two to my best friend Jim Pagel and one to the daughter of another old friend you never met Mark Dtayo. But that gave me great pleasure to do so no loss for me. I just didn't feel safe riding anymore and that was one of my hard and fast rules, don't ride if you don't feel safe. Russ
I believe it has been since John’s 40th. I have been living in Charleston, SC now for about 13 years, had enough of the winters and kids were grown. Was excited when I saw you were still riding a motorcycle. Muriel
Thank you Merle (sp?) How are you doing these days? Been a lot of years since I have seen you. My fault, I was living all over the country though I spend the most time in California. 20 years and it passed so fast.
Hi Russ, so happy that John has gotten in touch with you again and told me about your blog. Sending hugs and hopes to find a cure for this disease!❤️
