Don't mess with me and ADA!

So this is how I deal with folks that will not allow for communication with a mute person. And I checked ADA to be sure, Mute is a protected class. And they provide a handy link to file a complaint. So here is my complaint to the United States Department of Justice Civil Rights Division.

Just another thought:

Could you/would you use a TTY Phone?

yes, I believe so. But most medical centers have TTY's. And certainly a department that deals with folks with disabilities should have them. Just a thought. Wishing you a peaceful night.

Well done Russ! It's shocking that they haven't already addressed this as a provider to folks with disabilities.

Dan,

It was so frustrating to deal with. I applied for three different companies. The first two allowed me to put in where the phone number goes "I am mute, please use email" But this company would not let me register without a phone number. Which I refuse to to do. And to your point. I can't be the first mute person to reach out to them. But I am certainly the most annoyed one! Lets see how they respond to the Civil Rights division!

John,

We that is one byproduct for sure but it is my anger at being blocked which is my driving force! Russ
