I drove up from Fresno Saturday late morning. I met Andre Thomas, Rob Kinard and Kevin Garris. Andre took my position at Bay Area Production services, I worked with Rob at the Orlando Sentinel then hired him twenty years later in San Antonio. Before my Illness was known, I was trying to bring him out To BAPS to work. But Andre closed the deal. Kevin is Andres counterpart at BANG (Bay Area News Group) and someone I got to know well in the two years I was there. We met at a resturant named the Lazy Dog near the plant and have a couple of drinks and food and caught up. It was a good time and again I failed to take a picutre.
