A good old friend from Los Angeles Times made the trek out to San Antonio. My good friend Chris Avetisian. We worked together for 15 years at the Los Angeles Times and man we had some good times! Traveling for the big inserting project with Chris and Steve Bentz. Steve brought a water bottle filled with Vodka, which did not fool the stewardess but "die with the lie" prevailed and the trip continued. Chris I enjoyed steaks on the grill and the famous beef ribs from 2M Smokehouse. And had a few beers along the way. Good Times!
