In preparation for my trip based on my recent travels, I had three new tires put on my car (one tire has less than 600 miles on it.) so I could hopefully avoid yet another flat tire. So far, so good. I just stopped for the day at my cousin Julie and Richard Barth house in Andover, KS. I spent last night in Oklahoma City. And as soon as I pulled out of my driveway, this is the weather I had. Heavy rain all the way from SA to Austin. Then light rain the rest of the day. But I made it safe and sound without any flat tires so that qualifies as a good day.
